Tips for Air Conditioners and Heaters

We want to share the following advice to keep air conditioners and heaters running smoothly so your home stays comfortable throughout the year. Be sure to ask our service professionals for additional tips and maintence advice.

• • Change filters regularly.
  • Don't overwork your systems - keep your thermostat set to 70 in the winter, and 78 in the summer. When you are away from home, you can set the winter temperature to 65 and the summer temperature to 85.
  • Keep your air conditioner condenser free of debris.
  • Have your thermostat checked yearly to ensure that it is working properly.
  • Have your ducts cleaned occasionally for maximum energy efficiency.
