Duct Replacement

If your air conditioning unit is the heart of your home, then the ducts are the arteries. At 4 Seasons Heating & Air, we prefer solid metal ducts and advise that you keep them in good condition. Houses that were built over the last 25 years sometimes have what is called duct board. Ductboard is a fiberglass board that was easy to work with and is inexpensive. However, in most cases we will remove this product and add metals ducts. If you suspect that you are having issues with your vents or ducts, we will complete a duct inspection for you. We go above and beyond by checking your entire heating system and air conditioning system for moisture, faulty connections, leakage, kinks and any flex that is excess. We don’t believe in out of sight, out of mind. It is our goal to give your system the thorough check that it deserves in addition to a written report during each changing season to keep you up-to-date on your equipment.

Ductwork is the most important component of your HVAC system. Without it the cold or warm air would never be delivered. When we inspect your ductwork, we will ascertain the scope of the heating and cooling systems in your home to make sure that the systems are the appropriate size for your house. When we install, we will install the correct size for maximum efficiency and double check everything during the process so that it is not only installed, but installed correctly and working the way it is supposed to. Once you have all of this installed, we recommend that you have your ductwork inspected twice a year - once in the spring, and once in the fall.
