A Remodel or an HVAC System?
When someone hires a general contractor to add onto their home - a new sunroom, a walk in closet, or a room addition - often everything goes well until the subject of the HVAC system is approached. Trying to save money, many homeowners and contractors will try to "tie in the old system" rather than simply calling an HVAC company. Unfortunately, this doesn't work most of the time. When homeowners ask us to come in to fix their room additions - often there is nothing we can do. We will often suggest a mini-split system when you start a room addition - but these have to be installed with the original structure. Other times, a general contractor brings in a
